Howard Somerville club has replied to Isisbridge clubSt Benedict's Church (the school is adjacent to it) is no more than 450 yards from here, where I've lived all my life, yet I'd never before photographed it. Handsome as the building is, it isn't historic, having been founded only in 1899, and the West front, seen here, dates only from the 1930's. I've only been inside twice (I'm not a Catholic), the last time for a funeral service, and the other for a wedding, 60 years ago. Yesterday I just happened to walk past it; no camera on me but my ancient iPhone did a reasonable job.
Isisbridge club has replied to Howard Somerville clubTrump's election has brought hope in these dark days of leftist dictatorship.
Howard Somerville club has replied to Isisbridge club2. Yes, it has brought hope, but I fear that in office, economics, realpolitik and military necessity will tie his hands. But let's wish him luck.
