Yes. I crossed over the railway line where the station used to be, but the building and platforms have long disappeared. All that survives today is the sign which was rescued and is now in a bus shelter near the village centre.

No. They're as extinct as the railway station; all there are today on the fields are black plastic-wrapped, cylindrical bales. But there were a lot of wild flowers of various sorts.

No, because around lunchtime any birdsong was drowned out by the noise of fighter aircraft flying out of nearby RAF Brize Norton.
