Howard Somerville club has replied to William Sutherland clubI agree with you, Howard.
In Snowdonia I have seen more rolling clouds beneath my feet, and more brocken spectres than in The Lake District. Ratio of 2:1 in each case, Despite the fact that I have visited the Lake District about 5 times more frequently than Snowdonia.
Of course I love them both!
Howard Somerville club has replied to Andy Rodker clubThe galling thing was that I had brought a camera, but before setting off was prevailed upon by the walk leader to take a jacket (which I never needed), and the camera, I decided, would be too much to carry as well, so I left it in the car.
This was in the 1970's. Please could I have my life again?
