Höegh Osaka - In the Public Eye - January 2015

The vehicle carrier Höegh Osaka ran aground on Bramble Bank in the Solent at around 2130 UTC on 3 January 2015. As countless thousands of people had taken photographs before me, I wanted to create a piece of reportage which includes unusual POVs to emphasise the interest from the shore in the slowly unfolding events. My first shots are from Calshot towards Cowes, IoW. Subsequent shots were taken from other viewpoints.
