Some trees naturally bear cones. This is not one of them. I was in Knighton Road, Plymouth to research the area of the former Plymouth Friary station. The tracks, still extant but shortened, ran into the station in a wide cutting flanked to its north side by Knighton Road. It is to the shame of the city that the embankment is now a repository for many items of rubbish including some large objects such as a door and a divan base. The shame lies in equal parts with those who dispose of things thus and with the authorities for failing to clear up.
