Buses at Bursledon Brickworks (24) - 11 May 2018

I was on a private visit to Bursledon Brickworks the day before the 2018 Bricks, Beer & Buses Festival. I am immensely grateful for the hospitality received from David, Mike and Tom, volunteers with the Southampton & District Transport Heritage Trust.

Southampton Guy Arab III 64/FTR511 was carefully driven by Tom Lingwood out of the line up shown earlier in my series. The upper deck cover had been removed with great care so that rain water ended up outside the vehicle and I was treated to a short ride within the brickworks as Tom repositioned the bus for the activities of the following day. My hosts identified a need for a little tree lopping en route so that the next day's passengers would be safe.
