OE-XEG over Vienna - 24 August 2017

Sometimes, the most satisfying photographs are the most unplanned and not even especially technically competent. I was in the middle of an entirely different shoot when the enticing sound of a helicopter prompted me to snatch this shot which has been heavily cropped to remove the otherwise fortuitous framing by random obstacles.

This Eurocopter EC135 T1, OE-XEG, of Christophorus Flugrettungsverein (ÖAMTC) was passing just west of Gasometer, Vienna.
