G-MCGY passing Perranporth - 16 February 2017

This photograph captures, for me, some of the excitement of what was a great last day of a holiday. It also demonstrates the considerable capabilities of my much-loved FZ200 in what are still amateur hands. I shot right across the airfield at Perranporth as HM Coastguard Sikorsky S-92A G-MCGY made a fast run along the coast. I believe there is an optical illusion here (although I was busy managing my shot) as the helicopter is going to pass behind the mound and is not flying down the airfield as appears to be the case. The circuit direction was opposite to the direction of travel of GY.
