St Blazey - 11 February 2017

If I were able to travel in time, I might well take a digital camera back just a few decades to the railways of the time in the UK. One place I would visit would be St Blazey, once a vibrant depot but now a subdued 'Regional Freight Centre' with a sole 66 in view from the road on a Saturday and that significantly obstructed by vegetation. The 66 still bore EWS colours, a sort of time travel in itself, and one moved only slightly forward to the DB Schenker sign at the gate. DB Cargo branding has not yet reached St Blazey.
This view actually looks towards the commercial development of The Roundhouse. The depot entrance is to the left and out of shot.
