Curbside Haiku - 28 December 2016

'Curbside Haiku' by John Morse (2011).

Obscuring a much less interesting 'affiche', this highly improbable sight in Melbourne Grove, SE22 , whether copied or not, originated as an installation commissioned by the New York City Department of Transportation. The link below explains much more but I notice that the 'actual' original refers to '8 million swimming'. Now I wonder whether that is a misprint on the website or whether the London example is modified. Whatever the case, the artist is properly credited in the very small print below the image.
