This image is an example of my occasional forays into art using, as a basis, an existing work, in this case 'Pinwheels' (Things Remembered Series) by Rick & Jaydon Randall.

I have used the harsh mid-day light and the incomparable desert sky to produce this picture SOOC, adding only the frame.
