Opel Monza (1) - 1 September 2015

Photographs of cars are not a priority in my work but increasingly often I see something worthy of adding to this record of our times. This 1981/2 Opel Monza 3.0 was a striking sight in a Gosport car park. I do not recall that there were ever that many of them and it is certainly a rare sight now. Like so many survivors, it seems to have been beautifully kept or restored.

It is interesting that the car was supposedly marketed in the UK as the Vauxhall Royale Coupé but I have a better memory of the Opel Monza and the example above is indeed RHD.
