Accidents Will Happen (1) - 31 May 2015

On our way from Ghent to Zeebrugge via the N31 to rejoin the P&O Oceana, there was a loud bang as a tyre blew out. The driver was absolutely first class, slowing the vehicle and never losing control as seems to happen in some accidents in some countries. We left the motorway to park under a flyover and a replacement vehicle was brought forward from the port. The delay was only about 40 minutes.
