HMS Osprey (1) - 1 September 2014

Disused buildings fascinate me and this, now planted between open ground and visibly new development fascinated me greatly. In truth, with its unusual but tell-tale control tower structure at one end, it did not take much to deduce that this was part of the former RNAS Portland. This building at the then HMS Osprey (closed 1999) did incorporate the control tower and contrasts sharply with the the modern residences behind.
