T2 Getting Closer (3) - 13 May 2014

The intentionally ambiguous title of today's shots of Heathrow's new Terminal 2 indicates both that the opening date is approaching and that one can get closer now to the building during the final stages of construction.

The pedestrian route to the curiously isolated chapel affords some gritty views which soon will pass into history.

My pictures today are dedicated to my friends who have Heathrow in their hearts.
