Solar Farm (4) - 11 January 2014

On an unexpectedly sunny January Saturday, I was able to return to the streets to continue three of my current documentary projects. The second of these today is the solar farm development by Vogt at Newlands Farm, Fareham. Work is now well under way placing the solar panels on the frames shown in my photographs of 26 December 2013. Packaging cases are strewn around the field, a considerable army of men was at work and strategically placed portable toilets reflected the size of the site. On a day like this, uncommon of late, one might believe in the future of the farm's new 'crop'.
