Terminal 2 Development Overview - 26 September 2013

This is my first such photograph at Heathrow since I ended my visits to document the destruction of the old control tower. For one with little knowledge of civil engineering, progress seems slow but, significantly, the ramp is virtually at ground level and the east wing of the CTB has gone but that little bit which I noted on several previous occasions is still there (see note). In the background, the terminal building itself is in an advanced state so perhaps it will be relatively straightforward to complete the surrounding infrastructure - before moving on to turn Terminal 1 into a building site.
