Provincial 432 in Gosport - 4 August 2013

Having established that the Gosport Bus Rally was indeed under way, I decided that the Stokes Bay venue was not the idea place to be between night duties and that Gosport Bus Station would be a better place to see some of the associated vehicles. It was apposite that Provincial Leyland National NLP389V/432 in its now fading 125th anniversary (1878-2003) livery was the first I saw there.

Preserved buses are extensively photographed and rallies tend to attract similar exhibits but I think it is worthwhile to add to the library of such photographs so that, when some of these vehicles pass into history or adopt new guises, their existence and appearance at different times and in different places is recorded as thoroughly as possible.
