"Bring Back Our Girls" Montage

On April 14, 2014 276 Nigerian school girls were kidnapped by Boko Haram from Chibok. Another 11 Nigerian school girls were kidnapped by Boko Haram on May 4, 2014 from Warabe and 20 from Garkin Fulani on June 9, 2014. Boko Haram threatens to sell them into prostitution.
These girls -- all 307 need to be released immediately and unconditionally so that they may be able to return to their families and pursue their God-given dreams.
"[I]t is not lawful for you that you should take women... against their will." [Islam: Qu'ran: The Women 4:19]
"[D]o not compel [women] to prostitution, when they desire to keep chaste..." [Islam: Qu'ran: The Light 24:33]
"Acquisition of knowledge is binding on all..." [Islam: Ibn Maja in al-Sunan, 1:81 §224]
By their actions it is apparent that Boko Haram's members are not Muslims but infidels in the strongest sense. If they are not infidels, they ought to prove it -- Release the girls, stop the senseless killings and repent for their crimes against Allah and humanity.
In Islam, God is known as al-Wadud or "He who loves."

Mixed news today. It is great news that the circulated video shows that many of the girls are alive. At the same time, it is just another slap in the face to Mohammad and Allah and a further figurative desecration of the Qu'ran if some of the girls have been indeed forcibly converted to Islam. :(

Considering that the Nigerian government is completely impotent when it comes to finding and rescuing the girls, I really hope they just make the prisoner swap demanded of them. There are no better or viable alternatives for Lagos. They OWE the families and kidnapped girls this much considering the military fled hours before the abductions. If they didn't want a fight, all they had to do was simply evacuate the school before Boko Haram moved in!
