Snowstorm

View of Manor Park in a snowstorm (Larchmont, New York)—January 3, 2014. The snowstorm dumped 9.5” (24.1 cm) snow. It also brought the coldest air in nearly three years to the New York City area. The temperature fell to 8°F (-13.3°C) on January 4. That was New York City’s coldest temperature since January 24, 2011 when the temperature fell to 6°F (-14.4°C).

I've just been reading about the severe weather on the East coast with yet more forecast. Makes for some lovely images like this but also creates havoc and misery for many.

This lonely vague bit of coloring amids the snowy landscape, beautiful!
The changing climate shows cities as NY and Chicago etc on the pictures I've seen as horrible ice-cities. Afraid it's only the start of what comes in future.
