Judging by your photos, visiting Poland must be interesting.
It is a country that reminds me characteristic of Portugal.
It is also a Catholic country..
It will not be by chance that a Portuguese supermarket chain has set up shop in Poland

Oh, your observations about Poland and Portugal are really interesting. Well, my mom and my sister were born in Wrocław, and with all those similarities of both countries that you mentioned, I guess they're also a little bit Portuguese ;-)

Wrocław is one of my favorite cities. And of course, there are more beautiful places in Poland than just those in decay (yet I like those old and abandoned buildings) ;-) See here.

Wahrscheinlich hat man sich noch nicht so genau überlegt, was man mit dem Gebäude machen will. Und damit es in der Zwischenzeit einen Nutzen hat, verwendet man es halt für Antennen, Satellitenschüsseln o.ä. ;-)) Eigentlich ziemlich clever!

Doesn’t remind me of Portugal at all, at least not the Southern part. And as far as I know antisemitism is very strong there, always been by the Catholics.

It bears some resemblance to your “Polski Reality Fence”, doesn't it? (I confirmed this after checking! ;)
There's a clarity about it that contrasts with the outdated and obsolete image I had of it.
I sense a kind of nostalgia in your accounts of that bygone era. Am I wrong?! ;)
In any case, these are really valuable illustrations for us Western Europeans, disconnected from the harsh contingencies contaminated by Russian imperialism, among other things!
