I'm less perceptive than most of your commentators and remain - almost - speechless in front of your ghostly composition, Edna! Which can evoke so many things, rather sinister and backward-looking (it's easy to project oneself into it).
I'm a big fan of Polish cinema and your capture evokes some of its characteristic atmospheres (apart, of course, from that post-Communist fence and scooter!).
Belated HPRFFBMWW and early Happy Sunday without Ukraine or Trump in your ears to you (something like HSWUOT? ;)

I'm a fan of ghostly compositions...in any country, not just in Poland ;-) At least the post-Communist fence and scooter make the image a little less sinister...some cheerfulness can't do any harm ;-))

Wrocław is one of my favorite cities and it happens to be my mom's hometown :-)
Are you referring to the bridge leading to Cathedral Island? I saw zillions of padlocks there, so that's why I've been wondering. Well, sometimes it's like that but Wrocław still remains a beautiful city ;-) My grandparents got married in the Church of the Holy Cross (also on Cathedral Island). I guess they as well as my parents were luckier with their love. But then again, as my dad used to say when something didn't turn out planned...you never know what it was good for! ;-) So don't worry!
