I didn't know about these ivy berries either. I have to say that I cut it back (when I have the time) quite low to prevent it from invading the garden!
Following your photo, I'm going to revise my strategy and try to take advantage of this rare 'very Berry' (which DeepL translates as the so French 'Très berrichon'!! :-)

This may be a good idea, Eric ;-) You don't need a lot of ivy for your new strategy. And as long as you just take those rare "Very Berry" photos and don't use the berries in or on a cake, everything should be just very berry fine :-)
