Also ich glaube eher, dass der Leopard hier darüber nachgedacht hat, in welcher Astgabel er den Stephan verkeilen kann. Aber das ist ihm zum Glück nicht gelungen. Denn dann hätte uns Stephan nicht mehr dieses tolle Foto zeigen können. :-)

Al primer vistazo, me pregunté cómo pudo trepar el antílope a ese árbol, seguido pensé que huyendo de algún predador. Lo que menos esperaba es que un leopardo subiera su trofeo a esa altura para guardar su botín. Buena y oportuna fotografía de naturaleza, Stephan.

...Y yo aquí, buscando sapos corredores todos los días y llevo muchos años sin verlos:--(

Three exceptional images Stephan............the Leopard is really beautiful and a majestic looking. You've captured in brilliantly despite all the tree branches surrounding it.........the focus on it's eyes is spot on!

I especially like the second PiP.............getting a (literally) dead weight up in the tree must take remarkable strength.

You don't see this sort of photos in a zoo..!!

Yes three fine captures here, up in the trees. That lens and D500 combination has delivered dividends here. As Keith says, the second PiP is unbelievable and demonstrates the strength of these leopards. Very well done. ⭐

Fressen und gefresen werden: eine dramatische, aber dort alltägliche Szene : die Natur kann in unseren Augen als ganz schön grausam erscheinen.....In Namibia erlebte ich vor Jahren mal wie ein Gepard eine Antilope einholte und zu Boden riss....das hatte ich bis zu dem Tag nur in Dokus gesehen und war im ersten Momen ziemlich schockiert!
