Interloop @ Wynyard Station:
An impressive piece of art, which Chris Fox offers us here. The Australian artist combines history with modern art by staging a Sydney escalator system that has been in service for 80 years in the modernized station in the form of a ceiling construction. This "Interloop," as he has christened the work, consists of 244 of the original wooden steps, measures over 50 meters in length and weighs around five tons.

Ein beeindruckendes Stück Kunst, was Chris Fox uns hier bietet. Der australische Künstler verbindet Historie mit moderner Kunst, indem er eine 80 Jahre lang ihren Dienst verrichtende Rolltreppenanlage Sydneys in der modernisierten Station in Form einer Deckenkonstruktion inszeniert hat. Dieser „Interloop“, wie er das Werk getauft hat, besteht aus 244 der hölzernen Originalstufen, misst über 50 Metern in Länge und wiegt rund fünf Tonnen.
