The bold freestanding ski jump of Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
In particular, the large Olympic ski jump, newly built in 2007, attracts attention. The 650-tonne steel construction with a tower height of over 60 metres and an inrun length of over 103 metres seems to stand almost playfully above the Olympic Stadium.
