Wild Rose club has replied to Léopold clubOur roads are narrow - we do lots of travel over narrow(for us in UK) moorland roads - a longer one would not fit on our drive at home - If /when we go outside Uk you have to go by boat, camper this size pay the same as a car longer ones cost extra per metre or part - I am not allowed now to drive a longer & heavier one without an annual medical
We also have a freestanding /drive away awning
Léopold club has replied to Wild Rose clubMe and my wife do a lot of motorcycle and we know quite well about narrow roads trip.
I get goose bumps when I see all those courageous drivers in huge camper van.
When we married we took to camping and fell walking in the Yorkshire Dales National Park
We then lived in the city of Bradford - all houses, offices and factories
