The Pontcysylite Aqueduct And Canal.


Designed by Thomas Telford construction started 1795 and opened 1805, and crosses the River Dee. At the eastern end of the Vale of Llangollen, the stone and cast iron structure has 18 arches and is a unesco world heritage site.
