Kilnsey Crag

Kilnsey Crag
Kilnsey Crag This huge, overhanging limestone cliff is an important landmark in Wharfedale. It was shaped by glaciers that once filled the valley and plucked away the sheer rock face thousands of years ago.

Chris Bowness, Holger Hagen, Ecobird, Karl Hartwig Schütz and 12 other people have particularly liked this photo

This is a wonderful image TOZ. Fantastic landscape and I love how the light pools around the little building at the bottom.

I remember climbing that in the 60s, Gordon. Scared me s***less, especially the overhang. This is a cracking photograph which brings back many memories of a mis-spent (but very enjoyable) youth.
