* ઇଓ * club has replied to William Sutherland clubIndependently, a masterful capture, absolutely terrific (there's no equivalent of this adjective in French), and great in every way.
Which deserves to join the celebration of World Phorophaphic Day despite its capture date (I'm all against breaking the rules when justified ;)
* ઇଓ * club has replied to Eric Desjours clubIsn't it remarkable that both Argiope bruennichi and its North and South American relatives, Argiope trifasciata, have expanded their original range across continents such as Asia, (North) Africa and Europe with our support? In light of the impact of climate change, global transportation of goods and our travel habits, it seems likely that we will increasingly encounter spiders and other animals in countries where they were previously absent.
Thank you for your kind words about my photograph.
I was delighted to discover two more Argiope bruennichi on August 19. Unfortunately, I have not yet had the opportunity to view the pictures. If there is a suitable photo among them and I can complete the processing in time, I would enjoy sharing it in the appropriate group as part of the WPD celebrations. :)
Have a marvellous day, and week, my dear ❤️❤️❤️
