Yes, we have several of these in our little town. The idea is to take a book to read. When you are done reading it, take it back (and maybe) another book.

What a great idea...........in my area there are quite a few free "libraries" but using the old red phone boxes.

Is dit een van die gratis boekenkasten voor de bibliotheek? Waar mensen hun reeds gelezen boeken achterlaten, voor andere mensen om mee te nemen, en hun oude boeken om te ruilen? Ik vind het een geweldig idee.

That's a really great idea! Lovely shot, too. I used to be able to donate books to my VA hospital. But, all of a sudden, they're afraid of germs and they don't accept them anymore. Their loss.

Het was niet mijn idee, maar ik maak er vaak gebruik van.
Ooit vond ik hier het ,,Nieuw handboek voor de fotografie'' van John Hedgecoe en daar heb ik veel in gelezen.
