Looking at your second picture, I see that the water wheel gives me another clue...perhaps this is a flour mill for grains?

Thank you so much, again, for your lovely comments...I'm delighted to find that you read my story about the ant invasion. That was a HORROR. I am so glad to say that we have only had a couple of tiny invasions since then, and it only took a day to be rid of the ants. WHEW!! :D

Dit is inderdaad een graanmolen, waarvan ik ook graag binnen foto,s had gemaakt, maar helaas was alles gesloten.Wat de naam betreft, Strijdhagen,deze naam stamt van 1250 en de betekenis heb ik niet kunnen vinden. Molen is gewoon een Mill.
Met de vertaling van Microsoft moet ik ook vaak lachen.
