In Bad Dürrenberg konnte das Gradierwerk* mal wieder restauriert werden und neue Bänke gab es neben vielen neuen Pflanzen auch.

Ja Christa, dort wurde das Salz gereinigt (Gips und Kalk fällen sich an den Zweigen aus) und aufkonzentriert. Letzteres durch beschleunigte Verdunstung durch einen langen Rieselweg. Dann floß das Konzentrat bzw. die Sole den Siedepfannen zu, um zu Salz zu werden. Heute wird die Sole meines Wissens an verschiedene Abnehmer in der Chemieindustrie geliefert.
