HFF-Horror Ferry Fence
Hier steckte ein riesiges Wohnmobil 2 Stunden in der Fähre fest. Durch die einsetzende Ebbe verschlimmerte sich die Situation noch. Der Horror war, dass unser Flieger am selben Tag ging und wir nur 2 Stunden Reserve hatten. Dazu kam noch die von uns außer Acht gelassene Zeitdifferenz von + einer Stunde an der Grenze Alaska zu Canada. Da wurde es zum Schluss richtig eng! Ich wünsche Euch ein entspanntes Pfingswochenende mit viel Zeit für Euch und Eure Kamera!

Es war ein ausgewachsener Lastwagen, als er dann endlich an uns vorbeifuhr konnten wir ihn bewundern. Mir wäre aber so ein fahrender Palast nichts, ich bin mehr für das Ursprüngliche.

Danke für Dein Lob Christa, ja, ein paar Minuten vor der Schalterschließung waren wir da. Aber auch nur weil die Mitwagenrückgabe in Canada unkompliziert und im "Gebrauchszustand" möglich ist. Sonst hätten wir eine Woche später fliegen müssen.

Das sehe ich auch so Percy, wir konnten leider keine frühere Fähre nehmen, da die nicht jeden Tag nach Skagway fuhren. Das hatten wir aber erst vor Ort in Haines erfahren. Bleib gesund!
