Dankeschön Dida, das Kirchlein steht wirklich wie verloren in der Wüste, etwa 1km von einer Ansiedlung, wird aber genutzt. Das Türmchen erhielt die Kirche von einer Filmgesellschaft für eine Filmsequenz . Den Topnaar, die dort leben,gefiel es und so blieb das Türmchen.

Dear Janet, thank you for your nice comment, yes it's a very interesting and historical place! The first church was built in 1845, the recent church was built in 1969. The inhabitants of this place are the "Topnaar", a little tribe that reduce in the last 100 years from 800 people to 350 people. They are the only tribe that lives in the Namib desert. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Topnaar_people
