Staffordshire Walks, Handsacre 2
Folder: Staffordshire Walks
A 5.5m circular walk in April 2008 from High Bridge at the river Trent via Mavesyn Ridware, Hill Ridware, Pipe Ridware, Nethertown and King's bromley Lane.
(Weather sunny periods with cold easterly wind)
On this walk it was the first time we had seen four hares together racing across a field. Towards the end of the walk on King's Bromley Lane we noticed what looked to be a greyhound track!

(2021, the red flags at Pipe Ridware and King’s Bromley Lane are where the HS2 Rail Link will cross)

Slippery footbridge near Sitch Covert
A particularly rickety footbridge, with a shaky handrail!
