Circular walk in June 2008 (7.5m) from Shirlett Common, Hawthorn Bank Trig Point (203m), Barrow and Willey. (Weather warm and sunny with a stiff breeze)

After Lower Pool we searched for the Monument or Obelisk, but found that it had been reduced to a pile of stones. The heat had built up and we found a large tree to take a breather here and the last cup of tea.
