“Swivel bridge. Late C18. Cast iron mountings and hand rail, wooden floor, and stone surround. Low flat bridge spanning the canal. The Minworth to Fazely branch of the Birmingham and Fazeley canal, which Drayton Swivel Bridge serves, was completed in 1789, the contractor was John Pinkerton. S. R.
