Slow Ways, Wolverhampton to Wombourne.

Slow Ways is an initiative to create a national network of walking routes connecting all of Great Britain’s towns and cities as well as thousands of villages. beta.slowways.org/user/waylist/Wolverhampton+%2F3659 This route was submitted by a Volunteer. Having walked the off-road sections of the route over the years I don’t think much has changed, so I have gathered some pictures together. They order from the Wolverhampton end towards Wombourne, but not always looking in that direction of travel. The road sections at either end are not covered.

In the woodland on the Colton Hills, below the large school, there is a path leading through the wood to a lower footpath. Around this area there is evidence of the old Penn Brick Works, closed around 1910.
