Staffordshire Walks, The Roaches (1)

A 4.5m circular walk in October 1989. From beneath Hen Cloud to Rockhall House, Summerhill, north along the lane alongside The Roaches. At Roach End climbing to Bearstone Rock, the Trig Point (505m) and along to the end of the ridge. We climbed to the summit of Hen Cloud before returning to the car. Weather warm for October.

"Rock Hall cottage can be found on the rocky escarpment known as the Roaches which can be found on the Staffordshire Moorlands.
