No Man's Heath
No Man's Heath stands near the convergence of four counties. Warwickshire. Leicestershire, Staffordshire and Derbyshire.
"No Man's Heath is situated at the
junction of a number of roads. Two
major routes are commemorated in
place-names. Salt has always been
an important commercial commodity,
and Salt Street records the existence
of long-distance tracks linking the
saltpans of the west midlands with
other parts of the country."

The Trig Point (126m) on Salt Street near No Man's Heath
The Trig Point (126m) could not be reached as the farmer had made sure all gaps in the hedge were blocked with barbed wire. While looking through at the Trig a friendly robin kept us under close observation.

Looking NW along Salt Street with the spire of the Church of St Andrew at Clifton Campville in the distance
Salt Street is thought to be an ancient trackway. Here we look back to the Church of St Andrew at Clifton Campville that we had visited in February 2007.
