Warwickshire Walks, Priors Hardwick

A 6.5m circular walk in April 2005 from Priors Hardwick via Fox Covert, Berryhill Trig Point (183m), Stoneton Manor, Wormleighton. Then heading north past the sewage works and Sheep Pens to join the Oxford Canal at the bridge below Stoneton Farm and leaving to return to the start. Wether cool and breezy warming later.

Little did we know on the walk back in April 2005 that we would cross the path of the future HS2 Rail Link. In the picture below my late friend is very close to this route... www.ipernity.com/doc/2254674/46491604/in/album/1055094

Comparing the modern map and the 1884 map, it can be seen that the footpaths taken were in existence.
