Lake District Walks, Ennerdale to Rosthwaite
Folder: Lake District Walks
A 15m walk from Ennerdale Water to Rosthwaite in May 1990. Second leg of the failed Coast to Coast Walk. Somewhere near High Stile my friend fell and hurt his leg.
On reaching Scarth Gap the climb up to Haystacks looked daunting, and so we decided to go via Loft Beck. In hindsight it would have been easier to climb!

This little fellow had become separated from its mates, and running from us it got caught in a fencce. We managed to free it and push it back in the field.

Just after the picture was taken the skies went dark and we were caught in a hail storm. We sat for 10 minutes until the sky cleared and we saw a glimpse of sun!
