Under the weather
17 Dec 2009
Somewhere near Grisedale Tarn (Scan from May 1990)
Not sure of the exact location of the picture, or the name of the enormous boulder.

The footpath from Grisedale Tarn towards Patterdale (Scan from May 1990)
Maybe near Tarn and Falcon Crags.

Looking across Whiteleaved Oak to Ragged Stone Hill from Chase Hill Trig Point (191m)
Picture taken while walking the Worcestershire Way, a 48 mile long-distance path from Kingsford Country Park to Hollybush at the southern end of the Malvern Hills. (Now revised to 31 miles).
Here we had extended the walk to Chase Hill and the Trig Point at (191m). It was a cold murky January afternoon in 2001, and looking across Whiteleaved Oak to Ragged Stone Hill. The obelisk at Eastnor can just be made out.

Church of St Peter at Easthope (Scan from 2002)
A great place for lunch, out of the persistent January rain.
01 Aug 2020
Place for lunch, Lingmoor Fell (Scan from 1993)
It will soon be June and a welcome place for lunch on Lingmoor Fell, at least it was out of the wind.

Looking through the rain towards Pooley Bridge, Ullswater (Scan from May 1993)
10 Aug 2020
Looking over Ullswater towards Gowbarrow Bay from near Howtown (Scan from May 1993)

Hallinhag Wood, Ullswater (Scan from May 1993)
The picture matches the weather for the last day in May 1993, pretty poor. But a well-needed cup of tea.
