“The pub originally stood on Brierley Hill Road, Brokmore, next to the landmark sixteen locks on the Stourbridge canal. The pub is thought to have been built around the late 1700’s when the canal was also being constructed, the building was donated to the Black Country Living Museum by Ansells Brewery in 1979, moved brick by brick and rebuilt as the centre piece of the museum village.”
