Beautiful Wood Sorrel (Oxalis acetosella) at the southern end of Baggeridge Wood

Delicate, veined, white flowers usually appear between Easter and Whitsun, and has long been called “Alleluia” (and known by this name in much of Europe). The plant which joins in the celebration of the Resurection and Ascention.
