Ridge between Red Pike and High Stile from Bleaberry Tarn (scan from Oct 1991)


It was somewhere on the ridge that eighteen months earlier, in May 1990, my old mate Ken fell. We had started the Coast to Coast Walk, and although he soldiered on for two more days, we had to give up and seek medical help!
