Keeper Class cutters are also used for light ice breaking operations." Wikipedia also says: "Anthony Petit was an American lighthouse keeper. In 1945 he was assigned to the Scotch Cap Light in the Alaska Aleutians as the head of a five-man crew. All of the men were killed on April 1,1946 during 'The 1946 Aleutian Islands Earthquake', when a massive tsunami struck the station, leveling the strongly-built masonry structure."
