Nobody Travelling Today (2 of 3)

En route from Eastport to Lubec (Maine USA) with an empty deck. (In background is Campobello Island Canada.)
Reason for the boat's name is ?????
--- There is a dam on the Narraguagus River in Cherryfield Maine called the Quoddy Dam, but curiously it is nowhere near this ferry route; lying upstream from Cherryfield at about 15Km upstream from big water, although tidal flow probably carries all the way to the dam (which is at Lat, Lng: 44.608175, -67.938419). From the ferry route to Cherryfield is about 60 miles (95Km) straightline but probably twice that far by water.
