Emerald Rose and Clipper Meridian --
(President Franklin Roosevelt's Campobello "Cottage" is in right background.)
The Emerald Rose is in U.S. waters; the empty Clipper Meridian is moored in Canada. The Emerald Rose continues seaward.
"Shipspotting.com" says: the Clipper Meridian is a general cargo ship built in Aarhus Denmark in 1996, with length of 331 feet (101m), with a beam of 69 feet (21m), and drawing 25.5 feet (7.8m); 6310 Gross Tonnage.
With many owners and names in the 21st Century, she was only named Clipper Meridian between Sept 2010 and Oct 2012; for many years named NB Atlantic, flagged in Israel, based in Haifa; and then sometime in 2017/early 2018, named Nerey, flagged in Russia.
